Vipul Singh is a seasoned investment professional with over 19 years of experience in early and growth stage investing across private and public markets. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
Previously, Vipul worked as a Senior Associate Principal at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance. He handled multiple small and large real estate developer relationships primarily in Bangalore. He successfully managed an INR 2,200 Cr portfolio of structured debt financing across residential, commercial projects and REIT instruments. He also held the position of Deputy General Manager at Piramal Realty, in the business development domain.
He has worked as a consultant and program manager at the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, focusing on impact investments, credit and guarantees for early-stage companies in areas of micro-enterprise financing. During his tenure at Elevar Equity, a leading impact investing firm, he handled a $25 million Series A investment portfolio of companies in the healthcare and NBFC space and served as a board observer for these companies.
Vipul’s early career included roles at PEAK XV Capital and TRIKONA Capital, where he gained extensive experience in public market and real estate investing, financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and due diligence.
Throughout his career, Vipul has demonstrated strong skills in business strategy, fund raising, investment structuring and portfolio management. His interests extend to public market investing, politics, history and playing squash. Vipul’s comprehensive experience and strategic insights make him a valuable asset in the investment community.
